Does Workbench have a maximum resolution?
« on: November 22, 2010, 01:46:31 PM »
Hi, I just bought new flat panel monitor to use with my WinUAE emulated Amiga.  RTG mode.  Picasso96.

The highest resolution I can select is 1920x1080 16-bit., which is my monitor's native resolution.  But I'd like to choose a 32-bit mode.  All other (lower) resolutions have a 32 bit mode, but 1920x1080 only has the 16 bit mode.

I'm using the UAE Picasso graphics device (uaegfx.card) that comes with UAE.

I'm guessing that I can somehow create new modes in Picasso96....but this always seems like a frightening prospect (burning out a monitor).

Thanks guys, I set the RTG RAM in WinUAE to 16MB and the 32-bit mode 1920x1080 showed up.
