Wanted working A2000 Motherboard
« on: September 19, 2009, 01:55:01 PM »
As the title says anyone got a spare working A2000 motherboard, or wants a non booting but powers up A2000, may need capacitors replacing, and it's an HD version, without the CArd or HD.

From Flash,

PS would ned collecting in person and cost for the kit and caboodle  ;-

PPS I had to remove battery and clean components with appropriate isoprpyl alcohol

Where do you find this jumper to switch from PAL to NTSC, and can you answer me what the switch on the back of the machine does, I thought that would switch to PAL etc

hi Darrin,

Conflicting reports, amber monitor or extra ram I have a ram card in, but may not be functional board and card had rusted slightly until cleaned, but always powers so PSU is working, floppy drives power so some of the motherboard is functional, can only assume capacitors damaged or requires HD card. Was told in one place an Amiga HD 2000 model requires the card or battery to function, and have removed the battery.
