So, I've read that the torque with wich you mount an HD on each corner can have catastrophic consequences if very uneven, or something....

Being mounting a travelstar in my A1200 at this very moment I decided to stop and ask, because I was gonna use only two screws (the A1200 HD mouting surface doesn't have the right spacing).
Any suggestious beside the obvious one of making two more mounting holes? Some adapter?

Yap, that's the deal. I read somewhere that it's more advisable to have it mounted corrctly.
Probably if it's not well balanced or something some parts of the HD may wear faster than others and lower the lifetime of it ?
Guess I'm gonna need to buy some drills...
Has somebody did that?

@voytech
LOL! Ok I get the message :-D

I can give you the page where I read that if I find it. I 'm not up to date with recent HD's so....

Maybe there should be a pick up of the most weird /lame questions that have been asked. Should be a good read. Some of mine included  :-D

Not that I was gonna drill the motherboard and processor :-P
