Actually they can. Just transfer the files via serial port. Harder but works. Then use a tool like transdisk to "burn" the disks to floppy again. (Transdisk can be copied via serial port too if they don't already have it).
Problem is harder to solve if it was an A500 with just 512K ram. In this case one could probably use WinUAE to split the ADF files in tracks or something and then transfer via serial and save each part to disk, one at a time.
