3.9 Emergency Disk problems
« on: April 30, 2008, 09:43:51 PM »
Hi, I tried to install 3.9. It came with an emergency disk (possibly to mount CD0: to read from the cd-rom drive), but it comes up with this message:

"Cannot open atapi.device unit 3".

Any help? Thanks.

Change the device? You mean to change it to scsi.device?

And what about the unit number. I have one HD (Master) so the cd-rom must be slave and unit=0, right?

Yes, that's right. It loaded. But the monitor goes crazy. I connected to 1084S. Is it supposed to be connected via VGA? :-o

Thanks guys for your replies.

I connected my A4000 on the LCD monitor, through the Scandoubler, and I installed 3.9 into HD.

I rebooted and everything seems normal. But how I can use my GFX Card now?
