Amiga 3000 - Reason For Lockups
« on: May 05, 2013, 05:28:30 PM »
I have another thread going on a DENEB issue that may be the cause of my lockups but in an effort not to flood that thread with stuff not related to the DENEB, can anyone out there provide the various reasons that an Amiga 3000 would just randomly lockup *AND* provide information on how to accurately test it?

For example, I have a voltage tester but have no idea how to go about testing the power supply; I have some RAM testing software on floppy and it appeared to come out clean but I have no idea if I let it run long enough or if the software is even considered acceptable.  I forget the name of it actually...

Thanks!
