Oh gee, that takes me back, when I could get Console access on dialup to a Linux (Shell) box for $5 a month, but TCP was $15.

The Brainless sysadmin left compile access open to all users, so what happened ?, SL.IP was compiled in to the Kernel :Wink: :)

That got me 6 months of GUI web access at a severely reduced rate, SLIP in stead of TCP.

And not to tip them off, I was UUencoding binaries through Email.  LOL, you should have seen the size of their email spools.
