First of all I love the Opus avatar! Bloomcounty and my Amiga are my 2 favorite things from the 80's!
I use my A1200 NTSC machine and I've yet to run across any of my old A500 games that don't work. I understand that there are some out there I just haven't run across them. I finally put my A1000 up and use my A1200 full time for retro-gaming and my A4000 for everything else.
AmigaKit.com has pretty much everything you need to outfit your Amiga. I believe they are out of A1200's right now though.
