« on: February 08, 2006, 02:24:02 PM »
Hi All,

does anyone know where I can obtain a replacment internal VGA lead for my BVision as my curent one is on it's last legs. I have had no luck finding one without purchasing the entire card again. Any Ideas? :-?

Cool,

Is there anyway of making a shielding cable as the one on my current lead was burned off by the previous owner of the card. They messed up and the cable caught fire. I though i'd patched the issue for now! I will see to making a new cable :o)

I was going to use some spare ribbon cable and DIY the shielding/Isolation tube

Hi,

Cheers for this advice, I will look into the grounding issue. As I mensioned earlier in the post the previous owner of the card nearly murdered the cable  - including the ground cable. I have re-made the cable but have improvised on the grounding by using copper wound around the cable and soldered either end...It worked until the miggy was moved. Although I can get a very good image, Touching or moving the cable gives me a blured/unusual colour image.
