I had a quick look at bought tutorials.
The one explained on amiga.org need be compiled for the current hardware configuration. This does not seem to be the case for the tutorial explained on amiga.sk. ... is this right?
Also the one explained on amiga.sk seems to only support Workbench 3.5 or 3.9. This does not seem, to be the case for the tutorial explained on amiga.org ... again not sure if this is right or not!?
Why re-invent the wheel, and make things harder for yourself. I tryed x-amiga and its got majour flaws.
Came across amigasys and have been using that ever since. I was also looking at doing a cut down linux install with e-uae. But Amigasys already works/installs and runs...
amiga sys live for linuxYes is boots right into workbench. All you need is your kickstart rom file, workbench 3/3.1, and extra's 3/3.1 in adf format. Its that simple to follow the onscreen prompts/help.
