Posting photo's in messages!
« on: February 16, 2006, 11:25:56 PM »
Hi,

how do I include a picture in a message? When I click on the image manager, the window pops up and then I select the box to find the file. Nothing happens at this point and I'm unable to include the picture.

I have used:
Windows xp with internet exploder 6.1
FreBSD 5, with Firfox.

The same thing happens with both browsers. Does anyone have a fix?

Find yourself a host for your pictures.
I have 50mb worth of space with my ISP which I use for this. When I post pictures I just upload the pictures with a ftp client to my webspace.

Then you just use img tags, like this:

[img]http://my.imagehost.com/nameofpicture.jpg[*img]

Replace the "*" in [*img] with a "/" and your good to go.

Hi,

That's what I thought I'd have to do a few minutes after posting my message. Thanks.
