I would never use this Power Supply.
Lets look at the Minimig Manual :

The Minimig must be supplied with a 5V STABILIZED POWER SUPPLY.
Please use only the supplied power supply.
A power supply with the wrong voltage or polarity will certainly damage the Minimig.
Connect the power supply to the 2.1mm jack
labelled “DC IN” at the back of the board. Centre pin is positive.

This looks a bit safer to use.

The GE AV23650 can be set to 4.5 Volts, but not exactly 5 Volts.
If i had to use this one, i would set it to 9 Volts and add a 7805 based Voltage Regulator Circuit.
