@gdanko

Use OWB instead of Sputnik, it's simply better. Download latest version from Fab's webpage.

you'll need to use UAE to play old amiga games. Look in the "bonus" directory to configure it so you can launch ADFs with a double click and use the non SDL version. Overlay version is faster. http://fabportnawak.free.fr/uae/E-UAE_0.8.29-WIP4.lha

If you want to try out 3D performance you may take a look at QuakeIII*http://bigfoot.morphos-team.net/files/

Perhaps you should download and try out this pack as it comes with many programs and goodies:

If you are interested in SDL game ports download powersdl.library from Aminet.

If you haven't tried MPlayer yet I think you should do it because it works very well.

Neither Sputnik nor OWB do a decent job of rendering Yahoo!'s homepage. I cannot read my mail via either. Is there a better browser?

I haven't tried Yahoo with OWB but I think you should enable the options "experimental cookies" in the network preferences and also "ignore ssl errors" as both options help with many sites.

I've found some really stupid issues.. I lose keyboard from time to time, having to unplug and replug the kb. I've had the system freeze up completely though I don't know why.

That's odd, is the keyboard recognized correctly by Mac Mini firmware? have you tried a different keyboard? Perhaps there's some compatibility problem with it. Are you using a hub?

My system is very stable and never had random freezes, what programs have you installed and tested? What resolution are you using? Next MorphOS release fixes some of the problems found in Mac Mini. May you give us more details?

I can't imagine paying $200+ USD for a product that still isn't 100%.

Then you can test it again when 2.5 version is released and see if the system works better for you. Keep in mind first version supporting a new platform (Mac Mini) was 2.4 so it's not so strange that you find some problems. I am quite happy with both my Efika and my Mac Mini and all the mouses and keyboards I tested worked although I'm aware some people had problems with Mac keyboards (I think next version may fix that). Updates are free so even if you had bought it you shouldn't worry as MorphOS developers offer very good support.

PS:*I'm using OWB right now and Yahoo webpage layout http://us.yahoo.com/?p=us is as good as latest Firefox version. Have you downloaded the additional fonts? you'll find a script in OWB directory to download fonts automatically, close OWB and launch it. Then OWB will reindex the fonts just one time and you'll have common fonts available.
