The problem I see is the lack of real DMA transfers between the motherboard and the Mediator... with SCSI you don't use much cpu, but with a mediator you would have to take the data with the cpu from the voodoo3 ram gfx ram... that would be crappy and slow... and don't forget that Elbox also sells Powerflyers...
