FD0 too emotionally attached?
« on: May 12, 2007, 06:50:50 PM »
Hi guys!

So, i have a panasonic JU 253-043P that works great on a A500.
It loads, saves, etc, in WB. Also, in x-copy, i can make copies just fine.

Here's the deal: If i move it from the original board where the drive is at (A500 REV 6) and place it in an A500 REV 6A, the drive performs fine, BUT, in xcopy, it wont make a copy. It reads the source disk just fine, but all i get is DF1 errors code 8 at the destination disk (DF1? the jumper is at DF0!) Note: I'm using just one drive: DF0 as source and destination.

Anybody can shed some light on this?

BTW, where can i get a pc drive - amiga drive adapter?

Cheers.

Boas!

Yes, both boot from the diskdrive.

No, just the board.

Yes, i used the same cables.

No, both boards seem to be in off the factory state. At least, one of them i know it is, and the other seems to be that way too, but i didn't see it underneath.
