Is the apollo an accelerator or just a memory upgrade?
It may be that the card and squirrel can`t work together due to sharing the same memory address for the pcmcia port...
Try less memory (ie 4 Mb, to see)
If it`s an accelerator (030, 040, 060) then i don`t know...
