hum,
yea, seems to me everyone wants to know if radon is the last of the noble gases...
Element 118 (Uuo) was supposed to have been found by a russian team not so long ago...
Three atoms of ununoctium, Uuo (from the klingon meaning `got you`) were synthesizesed by fusing krypton-86
( 86 36 Kr) with lead-208 ( 208 82 Pb)...
AND
They predict somesort of stability `well`... (that may or may not exist)...at positions higher up...

[update: washing done]

EDITED: WHOOPS IT WAS AN AMERICAN TEAM:
Berkeley !

@ asian1
Hum, i had this on my site 1.5 months ago...

  • The Elements 113 and 115 have been created by a joint team of Russian and American scientists. The temporary names are ununtrium and ununpentium until the experiment has been duplicated and verified in another lab. According to the article, speculation has been made that

'Rather than being round, nuclei in that region and beyond could contain bubbles and have strange doughnut-like shapes'.

    I can`t remember the web-link just now...

But any claim in `leading-edge science` is usually taken with caution...:-)

    (not same team...?)

    Yea,
    i know what you mean...

i imagine that it`s quite difficult when dealing with a few atoms of a very short lived element to have `complete` proof, and verification.
It`s more a case of probability nowadays.... :-)

    Hum,
    very profound...

[all points in space-time are really the same point, but `extended`...Like the theory that an electron is really a positron that is going backwards in time; and that all the electrons  are/is really just one `sole` electron `popping` in and out of space time...]

    Hum,
    perhaps in another 400 years...
