CF-to-SD, why?
That's 3rd converter, real cable mess, not to mention how ugly it must look...

If you insist on SD, then get a IDE-to-SD adapter
I.E

Yes, WinUAE works great with real Amiga hard disks.
Do you have a SCSI controller in your PC ?
