There's no proper Amiga 'environment' for Linux, since they work in very different ways. However, you may be thinking of
amiwm (Ami Window Manager). A window manager in Linux is precisely that: it manages windows! Amiwm is only designed to give an Amiga look to Linux, nothing else.
