I got a 2.5" IDE -> CF adapter from a Hong Kong seller on Ebay, it worked out about £5-6 at most including postage. (The one I have is like this one.)

When I got my A4000 I bought some of the $1.99 ones you've linked to. I bought a set of 3 as it wasn't much more than the price of 1 - glad I did, as 2 of them were duff! I'd avoid them.

As for speed, I found the A1200 booted noticably faster - presumably because there's no spin-up time? It felt a bit faster in general use too, plus it was silent  :-)

From the picture I see it have male pins like just any hd. Due to the geometry of it I cannot plug it directly to the amiga 1200 slot since it will be standing vertically so i'll need a cable to connect it to the Amiga (maybe that cable from amigakit.com?)

Sorry, hadn't notices your hard disk was 3.5". You could always get a 3.5"->CF adapter, then just do a straight swap with your existing drive. (The cost is pretty much the same whether you go for the 2.5" or 3.5" adapter.)

If you get a 3.5"->CF adapter you can use the power connector and IDE cable for your existing hard drive (I'm assuming that's 44->40pin already)

If you go for a 44pin adapter you will need a 44pin-44pin cable from Amigakit.
