hosting stuff like this costs pennies. there is no reason to close. just have an archived page. if you are still hosting anything, then you might as well keep it open.
if you really are going to close, ftp a zip of the site to
http://ftp://aero.exotica.org.uk/incoming and I will make it available. At least then the data can be freely accessible
