What about something like building the BBOAH into the exotica wiki ? that way the information can be editable by all ? It is certainly something I would like to do, if you would give me permission.

I kind of like my wiki though! :) Also, having yet another mediwiki wiki with the standard wiki design is not very exciting. I guess everyone  (including myself to a certain degee) wants to do their own project rather than combining efforts.

Now i worked out how to find the category on that site i see a lot of work has been done. How about making english the default language ?

Any chance you can dual license the contents under the Gnu free documentation license also ?

I tend to use modern browser for browsing. I no longer wish to hack/code websites to work with HTML3. It is too much work, and ugly. I think most Amiga 68k users also don't primarily use their Amiga for webbrowsing, and if they do, then they are quite insane!

I really don't have time to help on another wiki though I'm afraid. I have little time for exotica as it is.

As you got control of the site before, it would be possible for you to dual license it at that point which would be helpful though to be. Something you can do ?

What do you mean by compatible ? If you mean look exactly how it looks on other browsers I disagree. a css based site will work on amiga browsers, it will just look very plain.

Making websites to HTML3 is just a bad idea. There are also far more interesting things to do on a 68k amiga than use it as a main internet machine for browsing (you must be very patient!)

cv643d: with a wiki though ti guess the BBOAH might be a good starting point, and the replace images/fix information ?

I've got a feeling that opening up a new section with nothing in it wont encourage contributions. To be honest, we have close to 0 contributions to the exotica wiki from people other than the main developers. a few edits here and there, but not much more. Although I do realise we are niche, and that there are probably only 3 amiga users left, (including myself) :D

But what do you mean by compatible ? If you mean should it work/function, then yes. If you mean should look the same as it does on a modern browser, then I don't agree.

It doesn't always work though. I mean, I think we have a relatively popular site already, but people come, download what they are looking for and leave. It is hard to get contributions sometimes.

I don't see it being any worse than the current situation in regards to accuracy of information. The people who verify it are the other contributors and of course the wiki admins (on a smaller wiki such as this)
