Jim Sachs was responsible for the artwork on quite a few Amiga games, the most famous being "Defender of the Crown" by Cinemaware. He also did the CD interface and startup screen for the CDTV (the CD interface was re-used on the CD32). His artwork has graced the covers of many Amiga magazines and is still impressive even by todays standards (Jim usually worked in just 32 colours - less if colour-cycling was needed). Many of Jim's amazing images are on display in the gallery here at Amiga.org. He is currently working on a freshwater version of his wonderful "Serene Screen Aquarium" see

MantisSpider: Don't forget Dan Malone (of Speedball II and Chaos Engine fame) - another truly great Amiga artist!
