In fact the first SIMM was recognized as a 650K memory. However, the second
one is recognized as a 16M memory. I used a bit the Amiga with the SIMM in
it and it worked fine. What kind of test for the memory you suggest me? I
would like to be sure that everything is right.
The SIMM that works uses 8 chip TMS417409 -60.
the first simm seems to be defective. if the second one works, everything is ok. to test the memory you can either use one of those memtest programs from the aminet, or just use the memory . if your miggy doesnt crash at some point the mem is ok.
Last question, related to the second: if a turn off the board using the "2"
key, how can I turn it on again? it seems that a reset does not work.
