I have a widescreen touch LCD panel on a daughterboard. I'll post some pics of it running at somepoint. I did the board to prove I could talk to the LCD and it looks pretty good.
It's a lot more work to turn it into a portable device.

If you can provide a regulated 5V supply the board will run fine from batteries, it has a 2 pin header for ext 5V.

The daughter board is being driven by Jakub, but if it all works out then it may only be available with a socket - unless I can find a big stack of 060s.

I have made some investigation into an FPGA module which fits the pinout of an 060 to allow a "turbo" softcore. I can't imagine at this point emulating a full 68060, more of a very fast 020.
