I havent seen anyone mention Lightwave by Newtek?
Lightwave is one of the best 3D animation programs available but is also pricy.
The only drawback is that Newtek stoped upgrading the software for the Amiga for Lightwave at virsion 5.0 They just released virsion 9.0 for the PC/Mac. Virsion 5.0 is still very powerful.
