Looking for a CPU upgrade on my A4000D
« on: December 22, 2005, 05:58:08 PM »
Hi guys,

I am looking for some sort of CPU upgrade for my A4000D. I have the stock 3640 040 board right now.
I use my Amiga for mostly Video editing with the Video Toaster 4000 Flyer system installed. I have also used alot of Lightwave that is of course included.
Here is my problem I want something that will boost the speed of the rendering as well as give me more memory for when I run  projects in the switcher. Un fortunantly for me I just do not have the cash to aford to buy one off eBay so I would like to see if somone wants to do a trade? I have at least four items that I can let go of.
1) a Video Toster 4000 card in great condition in original box manual and 4.2 software.
2) an Opalvision 24bit graphics card with the software downloaded and installed on a CDrom.
3) an amiga 3000T flopy drive in great working condition.
4) amiga 3.0 roms, 2.04 roms and 2.05 workbench install flopies.

If anyone is willing to trade to help my cause I would be very greatful hopfuly someone in my area can help. (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)

Thats what I say, $500US is way over inflated. I have seen many  go for around $300 Thats like the one guy in Calgary Alberta who is selling a top of the line one for $1500 on eBay. He is dreaming. :-o
