Hi-res and Super hi-res laced are already pretty close.  Hi-res is 640x256 which is 22.5:9.  Can't remember what the horizontal resolution of Super Hi-res is, nor am I sure how good it will look stretched out to 16:9.

There are monitor editors on Aminet that will allow you to tweak the resolutions.
