I don't think they debugged it at all, IMHO...
3.5 hasn't given me any problems at all. To be fair, this was the first update to AmigaOS for five(?) years, updated by people who hadn't even seen the source code before. I think they did a good job, considering the circumstances. And of course 3.9 is better, as it is 3.5+bug-fixes+more.
