Couldn't disagree with you more. People are willing to pay for performance.
Also I said the AmigaOne failed so spectacularly in sales because it was so expensive. It had nothing to do with the OS...but that price tag drove people away.
The AmigaOne was out of its element. The wrong hardware and software at the wrong time - but give us an "Amiga" again and it will sell.
But those days are gone, and as a consumer product, the Amiga has to compete not with the hardware (it will lose) it has to compete with the software...
The Amiga will never compete with the PC at its own game. I believe the Amiga, with a complete hardware overhaul (not an AmigeOne) could fill a niche market.
