I thought about getting one of those for my A1200, but wasn't convenced I would get video any better then what I already had.  I used a Viewsonic VB50HRTV to view my amiga on my LCD.  Video was ok, except for some bleeding of colors and blurry text.  But I was getting my video source through the composite port.

IMO, if you have an A1200, the indivision AGA 1200 internal scan doubler/flicker fixer (Indivision AGA1200 SD/FF) is well worth spending a little more.

I, too, would like to know the results of using the VGA Converter Scaler, as that may be a viable choice to display my A500 with better video then with the Viewsonic TV box thing.
