At least you'll be used to working shifts when you start nursing A highly undervalued profession - much respect for choosing it.

Even before I start the access course I have to get through initial selection and then past an interview.

Presumably they'll be doing something similar at the beginning of the degree course to weed out the gomers.

If it doesn't work out this time around I'll probably start applying further afield.

Should be interesting if nothing else

I'm sure you'll do fine. If you're passionate about nursing then it will come across in your interview.
