I've tried moving the Ram Disk back to the top left of the screen and snapshotting, but after a reboot it is back at the very bottom right.
Normal behaviour. When you snapshot, it saves it to RAM:disk.info. When you reboot, RAM: is flushed and RAM:disk.info goes back to default.

However, if I deactivate PowerIcons by putting a semi-colon in front of the line in my Startup-Sequence and reboot, the Ram Disk icon is back in its proper place at the top left of the screen.
The PNG icon is probably in a different place to the normal one, which might be ENV:def_ramdisk.info, which is probably in the correct place.
Solution: Let PowerIcons run. Put the RAM Disk icon where you want it and snapshot. Open a shell and type the following:
Copy RAM:disk.info S:ram.info
Then edit your startup-sequence and add the following line after PowerIcons runs:
Copy S:ram.info RAM:disk.info
