How exactly does patching a ROM violate Intellectual Property rights? I did the same thing with my A1200. I patched a 3.1 ROM image with the 3.9 ROM Updates then burned the ROM image to an EPROM. I own both the original 3.1 ROM chips and a full licensed copy of OS3.9. So I'm waiting for a phone call or a letter from their lawyers to tell me exactly which law I have broken. Come AInc I'm waiting!

I have photos from after I booted my A1200 with its 3.9 ROM chip. The photo shows a genuine 3.9 Kickstart screen (there was no HDD connected or floppy in the drive). I will post the photos and see what happens.
