I could never get it to open on a Voodoo screenmode when I had the same setup as you. It would just die with some error, or would hang when it tried to boot. I bet Framiga can help you - I think he's quite experienced with Fusion. TBH I gave up in frustration (though I might try again with my A4000)

When you say it was faster than Fusion, does that mean you were using Shapeshifter? Or Basilisk? Also while the offer of help by PM is generous it's always best to keep help in the forum where other people can benefit from it :-)
