I even have some PC using Co-Workers that saw the AROS CD and have asked to get a copy to play with. One is even a software developer that wants to code some multimedia apps for it. (MP3 Player, Car Audio center, Media Center and even DirectTV/Tivo controller.)

On a related note, what development environments exist for AROS? He's familiar with C (C-Something.. dunno what) and VB/Basic/Perl.

Every Developer is welcomed !

Development Tools:
Aros Build System on Aros Website (Linux)
http://www.aros.org/

The probably most comfortable Way for Aros Application Development is AmiDevCpp:

http://amidevcpp.amiga-world.de/
http://amidevcpp.amiga-world.de/AmiDevCpp_v09/AmiDevCpp_Monster_Pack_v095_Setup_.exe

That' a complete IDE for C/C++ running under Windows.

Of course there is also a GNU C/C++ Compiler for Aros native.
