can you post screenshots or put up a link showing where we can see IFX4.5? I am curious to see how IFX has changed.
You won't actually see a great change as the 4.0 -. 4.5 update is 'under the hood'. The big difference is the ability to work on animations without having to load individual frames into AutoFX. This alone (IMHO), is (or in my case, was) worth the upgrade price alone.
Basically, the 'Layer Manager' doubles up as, if you like, a 'Frame Manager'. To load an anim, simply use the normal 'Load' procedure. This will give you a requester showing the first and last frame numbers, allowing you to change the number of frames loaded. To load a sequence of frames, use the dropdown button on the Frame Manager.
Either way, once the frames are loaded, you can playback the anim right away, or by using the Frame Manager dropdown (which changes to give various options for processing etc), start working on the anim.
As for value; well I paid a lot more for my 4.0 ->4.5 upgrade and considered it good value. At this price it's a steal!
