@Wayne
OS4 being shown in the US -- whether on CSPPC or the AmigaOne -- is a positive (and very rare apparently) thing.
OS4 being shown, for really the first time in the same place as the Pegasos so that people can get a hands-on with both is a positive thing (for the community).
Show attendees being able to play with both systems and for THE FIRST TIME EVER being able to make up their own minds based on the systems in front of them -- not forums and FUD, is a good thing.
The idea that we MIGHT be able to massively hook the show up with DSL for the first time ever is a good thing..
The fact that there are ANY shows still happening to promote the Amiga after everything that we as a community have been put through is a good thing...
So let's stop all the negative crap and look at the positives in this situation. Just make plans to attend the show and go with an open mind, in whatever direction that takes you. That should make your experience with either system much, much more enjoyable
Good call. It would be a Really Good Thing™ if we could all get with the program and actually look forward to the show, rather than bicker about (rather sadly) tired issues.
If you can get the DSL hookup sorted, that would be an excellent thing and would certainly get me glued to the screen all night (hey, I'm in London, there's an 8 hour difference).
Wayne: If this does happen, how about sorting out Q & A's with some of the announced people, using questions supplies by A.Org users?
