How to pick a LCD TV for Amiga
« on: May 20, 2015, 09:18:49 AM »
I have a question to those using their belowed Amiga with a LCD screen. How do you connect it? Are you using Component, SCART or VGA input?

I'm about to buy a second hand Samsung TFT TV to replace aging 1084S. Unfortunately, I don't have the model number but it is a 15" 4:3 aspect ratio, 1024x768 TV. It posses Scart, VGA, Component, S-Video and RF inputs. I wonder if I can directly connetct it via VGA cable. Do I need scandoubler or filcker fixer?

P.S.: We are talking about stock Amiga 500 & 600

Specification says it is a Standart Definition (480p/480i) TV. Does it mean 15.7 kHz?
