I'm just going to say one more thing on the subject of this stupid track:
Doomy's original vocal performance: uploaded to YouTube, no credit given to authors
My remix: uploaded to private web space and link provided, credit given to Doomy
Doomy's new video: uploaded to YouTube, no credit given to authors
It's the dishonesty that bugs me, not the legality.
Now on a more serious note, would I get lynched if I admitted that I've never seen a Python film?

Complaining that he didn't give you credit for using his singing is one thing. That's not what you did though. You told YouTube that he was violating copyright. And you did it over a soundtrack that you took in violation of copyright from him.
Now, understand, while I think that what you did was a jerky thing to do, even worse is the lynch mob that uses copyright violation as an excuse to abuse people they have decided to target, while treating others who do the same thing as long lost friends.
Personally, I don't think that what DoomMaster did with his original video is bad. I don't think you using DoomMasters video was bad. I don't think that what DoomMaster did with your video was bad.
While you may have been offended that he didn't give you credit for the source material that you edited, you reporting him WAS bad. No doubt, you don't give credit EVERY single time that you repeat something you got from someone else. For example, I suspect that you have sung 'Happy Birthday' to someone in your life, and I doubt that you gave credit when you did.
Worst of all is the double standard that this community places on copyright. I'm sure that there are people that will want to point out that they didn't comment in one thread or another, but chiming in about the evils of copyright when it is someone you have decided that you don't like, but staying quit while someone else defends the person you like for the same thing is still hypocritical. Double teaming your enemies doesn't make bad behavior good.
A good example is with Piru. In the CUSA threads, he made post after post explaining how unethical CUSA are for violation copyright. He puts links showing how he has been interested in copyright for a long time. How he wasn't using copyright as an excuse to attack CUSA when the real reason was something else. It is pointing that he has not 'noticed' this thread. Based on his professed values, he should be in here ripping you a new one. It is clear by the thread title that this thread involves discussions about copyright.
So, while I cannot guarantee that Piru didn't just happen to miss this thread, when we see the same 'just happen' repeating itself over and over again with most of the boards members, it becomes pretty clear what is going on.
Honestly, given that DoomMaster has been permanently banned from this site, it is of questionable behavior that the moderators don't immediately lock any thread discussing him. Moderators allowing the posters to say ANYTHING they want about someone, when that person has been disallowed to respond in defense of themselves is not really up and up behavior.
