I'm not sure that Xenepp's problem is entirely that he got duped. I know that I was on the list for one of the fully populated boards. This means I was one of the first 9 to request one. After Xenepp said he couldn't assemble them, I followed up with a PM to let him know that I would still be interested in the bare board.
The response I got was "If you were in the first 9 then you'll have an email today, if not then it'll be two weeks time."
I have yet to hear anything else from him. Now, if Xenepp says that I am the sole person to slip through the cracks, I will not argue, but I know that I was one of those that requested one, and I have not been given the opportunity to purchase it.
I have since purchased a board from Nusim. It has arrived and looks good. I would still be willing to purchase the board that I agreed to from Xenepp, but that offer will not be out there forever, as the primary reason for purchasing a second board would be to honor my agreements.
