Firstly you need to be careful alot of this so called site are just pushing warez, so if your looking for some games then visit sites such as back2rootsand im sure some other people will add more legal links. but to transfer adf back to the amiga I use a program called ADFBlitzer aminet link

what version of workbench are you running?  cause most amiga files are in  .lha, which is a compressed file like zip,rar,ace etc etc so you'll need something to unlha the file,unlha is also available on aminet but i've never used it. there are some other tools available on aminet unpackerthat should do the job!
