Hi koper,

the picasso IV has a scadoubler, so assuming that it is connected properly (i.e. in the video slot in case it is snapped from the rest of the card) you will get picture on the vga monitor (connected to the picasso) to do the install of wb3.1.
Anyway is the only way

Try this: Turn on the amiga (the vga monitor plugged in the picasso), and hold both mouse buttons. You should get the early boot menu, if you do then the picasso is correctly connected and passes the native screenmodes to the vga monitor.
Anyway is the only way
