It's harder to findmodern  CD-R, DVD-R drives and the like in scsi format.

IDE uses cfcard as hard drives


The only really impressive SCSI I've found was the onboard Amiga 3000scsi, A4000T Scsi, and the CSPPC scsi, THAT was friggin fast.
