For US users wanting to use an Amiga on modern 32" lcds or any TV or LCD capable of accepting HDMI...
Why not try the following setup:
NTSC Amiga with a scart RGB cable connected to:
DVD Recorder with a Scart Input and an Component or HDMI out to a modern TV. Sinc these recorders are designed to record any signal in pal or NTSC from mulitple formats (s-video, RCA, SCart, Component) maybe they can promote the Amiga RGB to a LCD.
I have a Direct TV HD box that has mulitple input capabilities and can take the A1200's composite and scale it to an VGA monitor. Granted composite is not sharp at all but imagine how much clear a Scart Signal would be.
Has anyone tried this?
