Have you got a suitable set of TrueType fonts in your Sys:Fonts directory? You need TrueType type compugraphic fonts to enable your browser to 'interpret' what the original website contains.

If you don't have the above, then go to Matt Sealey's excellent tutorial on this. It's written with Voyager in mind, but the principle is the same in IBrowse.

When you have the required fonts, you need to set them up in IB's Preferences section.

To do this, go to the IB menu Preferences/Settings/HTML/Fonts
There you will find options for setting up the 'Normal' and 'Fixed Width' fonts for your 'Display' and for 'Printing' functions.

The Display fonts are probably the more important to you.
Here, I use Tahoma/10 to /24 for the 'Normal' range. I think I left the Printing fonts at default. Anyway, mine are CGTimes/9 to /24.

In the 'Fixed Width' section, I have Ariel/11 to /24 and LetterGothic/7 to /24 in the 'Printing' section.

I find these settings provides IB with the optimum range for most web pages.

Cheers,

JaX
