The IFF-Anim8 specification was created by Joe Porkka of ASDG.
It is said to be slower than IFF-Anim7 and has certain peculiarities. For IFF-Anim8-16 format, the frame width must be divisible by 16 (or by 32 for IFF-Amin8-32 format, otherwise there will be a small scrambled area to the right of the screen when the anim is running.

You may find the stuff you need HERE.

Yea, I think Anim7 format is about the best for Amiga animations. I've used it for all the stuff on my website. These used MainActor Broadcast to compile and run. A nice programme.

If anyone's interested, please check them out and tell me if they run OK for you.
