I used NetConnect3 to get online.
The 'Unique Serial Code' stuck to the manual is the only number you need. If it asks for the licence number, you need to enter this Serial Code. Do you have access to this number?
With version 3, the archives unpack without entering the code. You can only use the programs once unpacked to the hard drive, by entering the Code.
You then use the Genesis wizard, though this will probably assume you are using a serial modem. When NetConnect was published, modems were the standard method, not ethernet & routers.
What impact this has on its use with your setup, I wouldn't know.
