Greetings from Greece
« on: November 11, 2005, 07:28:39 PM »
Hello everybody

I`m 32 years old and work as a programmer & Electronic Enginner. I  own a very ancient OCS Amiga 500, alas with upgraded BIOS, oops, Kickstart 2,0 and a full MB of memory. I haven`t used it much since 1995 and am just trying to remember how the whole thing works, using WinUAE.
If I find this endeavour intriguing, I might decide to search for an old A1200 or A4000 somewhere out there!!!

Aaaaa...Stournari Street!! Aaaaaahh Tomas Soft!! If someone remembers EGKEFALOS KOMPIOUTERS we are going to make the best jokes ever about it!

Egkefalos Computers still strives on Solomou str., if I can recall correctly. I can remember a time in the late 80s when me and my brother would visit that store in pursuit of a good computer game bargain for our Amiga 500.
This woman (the keeper?) would practically fill our arms with all these computer game boxes, explaining the prowess of each title, until we could hold no more. On some occassions I thought of walking out of there with all these games.   Fortunately, I never did!

The best of times, for Amiga dudes!!!
