Making a clean WBench 3.1 installation
« on: November 09, 2005, 03:14:07 PM »
Hello everybody

I`d like to emulate an Amiga 4000 on the latest version of WinUAE. I`d also like to have Workbench 3.1 installed on a virtual hard disk. Is there some tutorial or walkthrough for newbies so I can do this thing?

thx, in advance

ok. I installed Workbench 3.1. Now I load my Amiga and can see the HD0 icon when I start. But everything is grey. Does Workbench not support more colors?

Some colleaugue of mine used this Amiga in a box software and the screen seemed really cool. Almost like a KDE desktop. Do I need to download this software and install it somehow in order to get that functionality?

I used to own an old Amiga 500 with an upgraded 2.0 Kickstart but have never used a newer Amiga version. I`ll try these out and tell you my experiences.

I downloaded these files! Nonetheless, I don`t know how to use them. How can I see these files under the virtual hard disk of the emulated Amiga? Can I simply copy them to the real directory of the Windows XP folder hosting the Amiga Disk.
